I purchased this case because I was tired of using the litttle ones that the reeds came in. The case fits right inside my instruments case and the layer of velvet protects the reeds. A great case I recommend to everyone.

I was always using the little oboe reed cases that the reeds came in until I decided to purchase one of these. It's the perfect size, fits right inside my case. It also has a thick layer of velvet on the inside of it so that nothing happens to the reeds. Now that I finally have one, I know where all my reeds are and don't have to worry about them being squished or broken.

My reeds on my bassoon were getting wet and not drying fast enough so they would crumble, but now that I have this reed case, I notice that my sound on my bassoon has changed and sounds a lot better.
