Wonderful Sound--Great Ease of Playing

Many years ago I owned an Armstrong piccolo but was given the school's Gemeinhardt to use for all practices and concerts. I remember how easy it was to play all notes, from low D to highest C. This experience was so profound, that I grew up and "old" telling myself that I was going to own a Gemeinhardt of my own one day. Well that day finally came last month when I purchased the 4W Wooden Piccolo. Amazing sound, can't imagine any other wooden piccolo sounding better. The sound is very mellow so it doesn't hurt the ears like you would expect from a piccolo and the price was certainly affordable! I think all flutist's need to have one in their possession.
