This is my first piccolo and I love it! I collect Gemienhardt flutes and have purchase two from Woodwind and Brasswind besides this piccolo and I have never been disappointed. I have a KG Limited and a 2SP in my collection that I got from these guys in the past both from (New B Stock) the same as this piccolo and they all arrived in beautiful condition and play wonderfully. I can not find anything wrong with any of these three items and these people must have high standards to sell them as (other than new). You save $$ and the instruments are just gorgeous! I found this piccolo very easy to play as well as adjust to when switching from one to the other, I enjoy playing it as much as any of my flutes. I'll be in Indiana next month for the holidays and plan on stopping in to the store as well as visiting the Gemienhardt Factory.

This piccolo has a great sound, especially for marching band. You can play really loudly, if you're the only piccolo it helps a lot. The tone is great too! The trill keys don't always like to work easily, but other than that it's great!

I highly recommend this piccolo for everyone. The intonation is pure, perfect and precise. The tone is warm and clear throughout the low and high registers with this plastic head. The solid silver keys are excellent for people with "Sweaty" hands." The key action is superb and the playability is delightful. Greatt Buy.

I've only had it for a few days but I love it already! I love the tone of the lower register and the notes come out so much easier than my old one. Also I love the quality of the piccolo overall. I would recommend this to any high school musician.

This was my first piccolo, and it served its purpose. After playing this instrument for a year, the pads started to fall off. The first time I ever dropped it, it broke. The intonation on this piccolo was strange, as it would fluctuate based on some unknown variable, and was a battle in its own. Take care of this instrument!
