This piccolo is absolutely amazing! There truly is no other piccolo that compares to its quick response and absolutely beautiful intonation. I just recently played it in a concert and I couldn't even count the number of compliments I received. The piccolo solos in Dmitri Shostakovich's "Festive Overture" became so much easier after purchasing this piccolo. I cannot stress how much better the response is! Plus, it's just a gorgeous instrument! It sounds just as beautiful as it looks! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Hometown 2nd star on the right and straight on till morning
I recently got this piccolo as a gift and absolutely love it. Intonation is a little wavery, but that is expected with all piccolos. Very easy to get high notes out. I was able to get F sharp 8 out comparatively easily. Great dynamic range and intonation as well. This piccolo made it easy to go from ppp to fff w/o much change in pich ( 2 mhz tops). Overall, great piccolo. It does need a lot of care, but that's expected with any wood instrument I give it a 6 out of 5.
