I bought mine for $800 during a half off sale at wwbw and I must say, for the price, I am impressed. I bought it as a backup for my YAS-62. The intonation is pretty consistent throughout the range of the horn. It responds as well as or better than my Yamaha in the lower register, but is a bit harder to play in the altissimo register. The two necks are definitely an advantage. With the brass lacquered neck the sound is actually a bit darker than the 62 but with the nickel silver neck I find it is much brighter. Of course, the action and ergonomics don't quite match up to the YAS 62. While I wouldn't feel tempted to buy it at $1,600 (I only payed $1000 for the YAS 62) if the price drops I would gladly pick it up.
