GibsonÆs J 160e. I can't say enough about this work horse! The one I now have is the "up-scaled" version with the solid top, back and sides. What projection, warmth and ease of playability! I had one of these wonderful guitars back in the 80's, but she was stolen. Longing for the feel, the tone and the quality, I went through many other types of guitars, settling on an old Iby M 340. But still, it was not what I wanted. With the first strum knew that this was the guitar I had been looking for. If you want the beautiful sound of a GIBSON acoustic with the electrified sound close to a Les Paul, then the GIBSON J 160e is your guitar. She is, as was my first one, a guitar I will go to the grave with. So, I would suggest you buy yourself a GIBSON J160e!
