Powerful Mouthpiece!

Comments about Giddings & Webster Nor Easter Bass Trombone Mouthpiece:

This mouthpiece is an absolute monster. I started on a 1 1/2g, and worked my way up in size until I reached this one. Compared to my Schilke and Bach mouthpieces, this one has the most comfortable feel in all ranges. This mouthpiece can play a soft legato up to the powerful fortissimo that only a bass trombone can achieve. The low ranges are extremely responsive, and this is definitely not a mouthpiece to someone new on the bass trombone. Overall, this is a must buy mouthpiece. At least once you get to a high enough skill level.

Great low end mouthpiece

Comments about Giddings & Webster Nor Easter Bass Trombone Mouthpiece:

The cup of this mouthpiece is not a smooth arc like all other mouthpieces I've seen. Everything is angular, sort of like a stealth fighter jet. After playing on it, I found that it has the best feedback that I have ever experienced, which has helped me out playing what I hear in my head. The low end is especially responsive, and it has allowed me to utilize an additional half an octave down there. I purchased the stainless steel version, and it is a real work of art.
