Perfect for my needs

Comments about Grover-Trophy Slide Whistle:

I currently teach music at 3 preschools, and this slide whistle is perfect for demonstrating both visually and aurally the way pitch moves up and down. The kids love moving their bodies to match the sounds they hear and the slide movements. My only concern is that I haven't been able to find a good way to clean the inside of the main tube (swabs and cloths are either too big, or they just seem to push the "gunk" farther down instead of absorbing it or pulling it out). I first tried to soak it in a tub of lukewarm water, which got a tiny bit of the dirt out, but there still seems to be a considerable amount. I searched online for a solution, and the most promising link led me back to WWBW, but the "questions and answers" tab they referenced no longer seems to exist. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
