Convenient but won't stay together

Comments about Hamilton SystemX Series Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand:

I like the portability and security it provides, but you see all those knobs and nuts, well they come off. All the time. And when they do, you are in a world of hurt, because the parts to replace them are hard to find. I had the double stand and the alto stand came apart. I was going to order another one to replace it and lo and behold, the tenor stand came apart. Never mind.

broke in less than a month

Comments about Hamilton SystemX Series Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand:

I'm not a power user or anything.. I have two stands in fact. One for gigs, one for at home. I've used the new Hamilton stand for less than 10 gigs in the past month and it has already broken. The main screw that holds the spine up fell off somewhere in transit. And I put the thing into a gig bag too, I don't just throw it into a truck or tread it poorly... So my only conclusion is that it's not a well made product.
