Designed for classic mouthpieces from the past
The newest reeds from Harry Hartmann, the Natural Classic Tenor Saxophone Reed features a warm and dark sound. The Natural Classic cut has a strong heart while featuring a steep angle to allow for a flexible tip and quick response. The Natural Classic reeds lend themselves well to classic vintage mouthpieces with smaller tip openings. On larger, more open mouthpieces, the saxophone player will find that the tone achieves a wonderful vintage feel and sound.

Comments about Harry Hartmann Natural Classic Fiberreed Tenor Saxophone Reed:
I waited weeks for this reed as it was back ordered. When it finally came I tried it right away with a couple of different mouthpieces. It was devastatingly disappointing! The reed will play but it was stuffy and minimally responsive, delivering at best a muted tone. This is THE MOST I've ever spent for a single reed and I feel cheated and foolish for having spent so much for such a mediocre reed. I won't waste $$ to try another one. For the money this reed is an absolute ripoff, possibly the most disappointing piece of equipment I've bought in 24 years of playing the saxophone. Keep your money and buy something else. I'm sticking with Fibracell for synthetic reeds from now on.
