The Band offers far greater volume levels before feedback, compared to mikes. And you can avoid being tied down to mike stands.
Headway's "The Band" further cuts feedback, bowing noise, body noise and excessive treble by acoustic filter.
The unique "Band" speeds sound checks and minimises cluttersome and unreliable equipment needed to set up and transport.
Most importantly, it offers increased headroom (volume) before feedback, enabling problem free monitoring at modest to high volumes.
The Band wraps around the instrument under the strings and is firmly secured with 2 Velcro hook-and-loop strips in a three-step process: 1. The end of "The Band" viola pickup tube is passed under the strings between the bridge and the tailpiece and wrapped around the narrow waist area. 2. The two ends of the tube are firmly wrapped around the back of the instrument and the Velcro hook-and-loop tape is secured. 3. Another Velcro hook-and-loop tape is wrapped around the first to provide added security. Black.
