Comments about Hill Violin Polish:
I purchased from WWB because I trusted they would not sell a polish that was not good for violins and string instruments. And not to mention their five star service. I have read it is suggested not to use this on old French varnish. No worries on that here I won't be paying a vintage expensive violin in this lifetime. I do take careful care of any instruments. This is nice polish. It left my Stentor nice and shiny. Also cleaned the wood on the bow nicely. Yes there is a not so pleasant odor to it. Turpentine maybe? Leave your instrument out and it will dissipate away. Put a small amount on a cleaning cloth you don't need to pour it on the instrument.
