By 1896, the popular marine band harmonica was introduced and as early as 1900 they were producing 4,000,000 harmonicas a year. Today, Hohner works with the The German Harmonica and Accordion Museum in Trossingen which houses 25,000 harmonicas demonstrating how the instrument has matured over the years.
