Ibanez RG350DX Electric Guitar
The Ibanez RG350DX electric guitar has a double-locking Edge III trem system that allows radical effects and sonic chaos with total tuning stability. 24-frets, thin 3-piece Wizard II neck for fast and effortless shredding. Total tonal choice is provided 5-way switching of an Ibanez Infinity 4 bridge humbucker with an alnico magnet that is warm sounding with good harmonics, an Infinity 3 bridge humbucker with a ceramic magnet producing dynamic sound for rhythm chording, and an Infinity Single3 single-coil with an alnico magnet for traditional sounds with high output. Stunning sharktooth inlays complete the sinister look.

For over 2 decades, the Ibanez RG guitar has reigned as the unquestioned monarch of metal guitars. Why? Because the Ibanez RG is an electric guitar that has the perfect combination of fast, flat neck, the right pickups and pickup placement, and a precision trem system that metes out creative destruction. And because the Ibanez RG guitar has evolved and expanded along with the metal genre it was designed for.'

There has never been a guitar with a floyd rose type bridge that has went out of tune by using the tremolo. The tremolo is what the locking bridge is made for as well as low action. I can understand newbies not setting it up correctly. First, you are most likely using the factory strings, right? Well like all *new* strings you have to break them in because they will go out of tune if you don't. What I mean by that is stretch them out with your fingers. The other important thing to mention when setting it up is that you need to tune it properly. #1 Start by unlocking the nut. #2 always tune the low E first, next tune A. After that go back and make sure the low E is in tune. tune the D, fall back checking the A, and then the low D again. Do this fall back tuning all the way up to the high E. After it's really close to being dead on lock the nut. #3 Remember *NOT* to tune high. It's always better to have it flat than sharp. Next thing to do is tune with the fine tuners. Also, when changing strings it's best to replace one by one. Another point is if you re-string the entire thing make sure you put a baseball card or credit card under the floyd bridge. Some models those things will chip your finish if you are not careful.

Outstanding guitar from Ibanez. Out of the box this guitar was set up perfectly w/low action. Not a buzz to be had anywhere. The finish was flawless-this guitar comes only in white w/ a white, pearloid pickguard and black hardware. White binding runs the length of the fretboard. The shark-tooth inlays are expertly done and add a great touch to the overall appearance. The stock, Powersound P/U are good and adequate in a H-S-H config. With the money you save on this guitar you can easily upgrade to DiMarzio or EMG's, etc. To the un-initiated, the Edge Pro II can be a little challenging to set up, but if you know what you're doing, you should have no problem. Ask to have a guitar tech walk you through a set-up if you have any questions. Be sure to allow your strings to stretch before knocking this guitar for going out of tune. It comes with D'Addario .09's. A great choice. Overall this is a great alternative to the Jem/Universe. With the money you save you can throw some Upgraded pick ups into it. I love this guitar and would buy it again. I cannot find a flaw anywhere. Thank you J.S. Cha for doing a great job before my guitar left Korea.

It's a great guitar with killer sound. It's great for any kinds of rock music and metal, but you can also play jazz and blues because of fast neck your fingers sliding and with no problem you can handle everything.

This guitar has all the things that you need for ripping it up with rock and metal and slowing it down for jazz. This guitar has it all. This is the best guitar I have ever had. The pickups are great and the Floyd rose system keeps it in tune about 98% of the time.

This Ibanez rocks my socks! I Play it in my metal band! www.angelfire.com/rock3/thoughtsofapathy Its perfect for metal-core, Hardcore, anything! The pickups are a little bassy, good for metal! ***NOTE*** The Edge Pro Tremolo IS VERY MUCH HARDER TO TUNE THAN THE FLOYD ROSES!!!! I Recommend to have good skills before purchasing this Ibanez. You don't necessarily have to use the Tremolo but I think whami is fun! The Neck is very good looking and fast so its great for Rhythm and Lead players. *RECOMMENDED*
