This rosin works well in summer or winter, high humidity or low. It creates very little dust; even after hours of playing, my eyes are not irritated and itchy.
I originally tried this rosin because another teacher was using it. Now, I absolutely love it. The rosin lasts a lot longer than many others I've tried. In the beginning I liked it because it left almost no residue on my violins. No more puff of rosin in your face! I had gotten so used to it, that when I ran out, I went and used one of my older "spares". Boy, was I amazed at the difference. This is my cello rosin of choice from now on. it works well with the synthetic strings I have on there. It doesn't sound harsh or edgy.
