OVERVIEW

An exceptional quality horn affordably priced.

In recent years, Jupiter's quality and consistency have skyrocketed as a result of hiring the world's best design engineers. Components are generated with incredible precision by computerized machinery so the highly trained craftspeople can concentrate almost entirely on exacting assembly and setup. All pads are hand-seated, all valves and tuning slides are hand-lapped, and all keys are hand-aligned and -adjusted. High-quality durable finishes are applied by hand, and each instrument is personally inspected and play-tested before leaving the factory.

Model 852L is a excellent horn for the serious student. It features a .472" bore, 11-9/10" bell, rose-brass mouthpipe, 4 tapered rotary valves, and lacquer finish. Includes rotor oil and wood frame case.

lots of horn for the $$.

Very nice horn for the money. Years ago I had the use of a real Geyer for a few weeks, I remember how responsive and light it was. This Jupiter is the only modern horn I have played that really reminds me of that Geyer. It is, as someone else said, very rooted in the Midwest and European traditions of a concentrated sound... not all that dark or spread out. Parts are very easy to get, the factory folk in Austin are real nice and almost all parts are in stock for quick repairs. The horn is a good value.
