K&M Folding Clarinet StandsThe K&M Folding Clarinet Stand is a compact stand for your clarinet. The stand's black plastic peg fits all current clarinet models. The 4-leg base provides maximum stability. The detachable metal leg base screws into the peg so that the entire stand can be stored in the bell of your clarinet. Very handy. Weight 0.1 kg, Height 180 mm.Folding Stand (3 Legged) -Fold compactly, one piece design. Lightweight and very sturdy.

Review of BOTH:
3-leg stand: Sturdy and safe. I prefer this stand when I'm performing because it is a lot more stable than the 4-leg stand even though it doesn't fit in the bell as well as the other one (which doesn't fit in the bell actually anyway, see the review below for what I mean). The only drawback is the lick "clunk" my clarinet makes when I put on the stand in normal motion (if you go slow enough, it doesn't make that noise). So, I had to put little cork dots on the base and now it is silent. :)
4-leg stand: Reliable. I use this stand for my A clarinet because it's smaller and lighter than most. I do not like the length of the peg though. It's long enough to keep the clarinet stable, yes, and the base fits in the bell, but the peg sticks out of the top of the bell, and guess what--You CANNOT put the bell back in your case unless there is an extra inch for the peg! Also, my clarinet always makes a little "chink" on the stand when I set it on there. It cannot be silence unless you don't wish the legs to fold into the stand anymore. I dislike this because of when I have to make quick instrument changes during quiet music. I don't have time to think "Slow now, don't 'chink'!"
I should have read the reviews before I ordered, because the 4 legged stand is too long when folded to fit in a standard case. There are some cases (mostly doubles) where the bell stays attached to the lower finger joint, and that would work fine, but the point end of the stand protrudes about an inch or so out of the bell, so that the bell won't drop into the case properly.
This is a very good stand. I purchased the 4 leg stand that fits in the bell. It fits perfectly. My only complaint is that this stand is not quite as sturdy as the 3 leg stand, but I haven't had any problems yet. I definitely recommend this to anyone.
I purchased the K&B Clarinet Stand and it arrived in three days. I am not a clarinet player. I play trumpet, own a piccolo trumpet and needed a stand for it. On several trumpet player websites, players recommended a clarinet stand. This stand works perfectly for a piccolo trumpet. It holds it steadily and stores in the bell just as it was designed to do with a clarinet. Perfect solution for this particular problem.
I ordered the 4-leg model a year ago, and it's served me very well. It's a bit longer than the bell, so in order for the stand to store inside, you have to have the right type of case. The buffet case I had worked because the barrel is placed inline next to the bell, so the stand can protrude into the barrel. I highly recommend it.
I just got the 3-leg model for my A clarinet. It turns out that it is hardly more stable than the 4-leg model at all; I did some calculations and there's about 2 degrees of difference. Just get the 4-leg model. It's perfectly stable, and even if it doesn't fit in your case, it's still more compact.
