Excellent Stand for Professionals

Comments about K&M 4-Peg Base:

The K&M 4 peg stand is an sturdy piece of equipment for the professional trumpeter to keep all your horns ready to play at a gig. You can order trumpet, flugel, or piccolo trumpet pegs to screw in to the base, so whatever horns you need will be ready and safely supported. Much better than lying them around where they are vulnerable to damage. For my sympphony gigs and weddings I'll use my stand to safely hold my piccolo, Eb, C and Flugel or whatever is needed on that gig. To boot, its an attractive way to display of your horns and becomes a conversation piece for those who take interest in your playing.

Great stand! Highly recommended!

Comments about K&M 4-Peg Base:

I have one of these stands and I really like it! I play almost every woodwind out there (bassoon being the exception), so a stand that can hold a lot with interchangable pegs is a necessity. I have all 4 pegs filled with something at all times. Being primarily a clarinetist takes 3 of them (Bb/A/Eb) and not having to lug and put up 3 seperate stands is nice and takes up a lot less room. Plus it is very stable and I have never knocked it over. When collapsed I can easily clip it to my triple clarinet case or put it a bag I have that holds my music and the pegs not currently in use. The only things I play that I need other stands for are alto sax and bass clarinet (which I don't use all that often, so I don't mind having seperate stands).
