Ideal for the outdoors player!
Kelly Mouthpieces have a bolder sound, better feel, and offer more choices than many old-fashioned brass mouthpieces. Made of Lexan polycarbonate ” the same material used to make bulletproof glass ” Kelly's trombone mouthpieces are virtually indestructible. These mouthpieces won't get scratched rims or dented shanks if dropped. Additionally, the the material does not conduct cold or heat like brass mouthpieces. The material's temperature-neutral characteristic makes Kelly Mouthpieces perfect for musicians who frequently play outdoors.

My first year in marching band I switched to a plastic mouthpiece. It worked so well for me that my section leader remarked how much louder I've gotten after making the switch. Therefore, those of you who debated about making the switch to a plastic mouthpiece need not put it off any longer. If the Kelly Mouthpiece can work for me, it can work for anyone. You should get one right now.
I bought a couple of Kelly mouthpieces in black - one for my tenor trombone and one for my trumpet. The sound quality is indistinguishable from a Vincent Bach of the same size - and at a fraction of the cost! The mouthpieces are very durable and don't seem to chip or shatter when dropped. Plus, I've used the trombone mouthpiece on a cold weather gig this past winter, it must have been about 25 degrees out, and the trombone slide froze up, yet no problems with the mouthpiece! It felt great! You gotta have one of these for every horn you own. What's your favorite color?
