This clarinet first attracted me because of the price. It was a big improvement over my old one, which kept falling apart. However it could definatley improve alot! the high notes are very strained and squeaky, and the low notes are out of tune. If just playing for fun by yourself, a great clarinet. for performance, not so much.
I've had this clarinet for about a year, to start playing clarinet as my 14th, 15th instrument (give or take). I bought this clarinet on musician's friend because of the amazingly low price, and the decent look. Quite honestly, I have always believed when starting a instrument, you have got to have a great instrument. Right now I am considering sending this clarinet back because of the cheap sound, bad key mechanism, and the stiffness of the clarinet. If you are planning to play clarinet for a long period. I recommend by another clarinet from this website.
