Recently purchased the four-legged "fits in bell" version. Works wonderfully as a stand and I have always loved K&M. However, I must subtract one star because although the stand fits in the bell, it doesn't really fit in the case. I'm sure this will differ from case to case, but the stand's top point protrudes out of the top of the clarinet bell when stored, and is thus too long to fit in the bell compartment of the case. I advise sticking with the three-legged brethren.

I recently purchased the tripod version and really like its sturdiness and dependability when it holds my clarinet.

This stand is basically awesome. I got it to use for pit orchestra, and it's so nice to not having to worry about my clarinet falling over. :-)

This stand assembles and breaks down easily, is very well made, and is extremely stable. The fact that it fits nicely inside the bell of the instrument makes it easy to carry wherever I go. I even take it to my weekly lessons with me.

I recently purchased the three-legged stand for a pit job I was in. I was quite impressed. The stand was very sturdy and fits my clarinet perfectly. I also found that my Eb clarinet fits on it well.
