Easily the best value in electronic metronomes

Nowhere else can you find these features in an electronic metronome costing this price. Even metronomes that cost twice as much don't have as many features. You'd have to pay at least three times this amount just to begin to get these features from another metronome. I've bought five of them, but I keep crushing them or loosing them by accident. When I say crush I mean literally smoosh it into pieces by dropping something heavy on it. At this price I don't even feel so bad.

Good Metronome without the bells and whistles

This is a good basic metronome that also sounds reference notes for tuning instruments. The volume is very tricky. The knob really only goes from silent to loud to louder. The drop off point to "no volume" is very sudden and it is difficult to adjust to a medium level. I still plan to keep this unit and use it in spite of this little issue.

I chose this metronome because is one of the cheapest ones that have a good brand: Korg. I find it very good to play simple Rythyms in 2/4/8/16/32 beats. One of the things that I do not like about it is that I can not have a full control of the volume, it has like 3 steps (low, normal and high); another thing that I dislike is that it needs to be open completely to change the batteries (although I have been working with the same batteries for almost a year). It has a sound note calibrator that helps a lot while tuning some instruments and to do some vocalizations.

Volume Dial Faulty

This product is excellent--but the volume dial is a major problem. It is too small. Moreover, the increments from soft to loud are so minute that it is frustrating to find a medium to medium-soft volume.
