Korg's popular TM series of tuner/metronome units is loved by players who practice to perfect their musical skills. Now joining the lineup is the TMR-50, which adds recorder functionality to the already impressive list of features. An extremely valuable way to improve your playing ability is to identify the problem areas that need work, and then practice to improve those areas. With its built-in mic and speaker, the TMR-50 makes it easy to practice this way. It provides high-quality linear PCM recording and a USB port for convenient usage with your computer. The TMR-50 features equally robust capabilities for its tuner and metronome functionality that will help you improve your sense of pitch and rhythm. Two choices of color are available: black and pearl white. Whether you're in a brass band or an orchestra, the TMR-50 is the ideal partner for anyone who wants to improve their playing.

"Great tuner. Easy to get in tune"

Teacher--player Classical MI

I have played the flute for 45 years and this is by far the easiest and most accurate tuner to use that I have ever seen. The compact size does not interfere in any way with its accuracy and ease if manipulating the controls. Since I play the flute, I am able to get tuned on my on with notes fingered only with the left hand. For band, which tunes to B-flat, I simply finger the B-flat with the B-flat thumb key. For orchestra, which tunes to A, I just use the fingering--thumb--1st and 2nd finger. If the dial indicates that I am sharp, I simply use my right hand to push the up calibration button. If I am flat, I do the opposite, I simply press the down button. I would imagine that it would be even easier to use on the violin where you are simply tuning open strings. Just now your open string, A for example, and press the appropriate calibration button. The only trouble I am having is that not everybody has one of these great tuners. Everybody else is very much out of tune. I am trying to convince the other players to get one.
