Excellent Sound & Response in All Registers
Customer Rating

I had been resistant to the idea of playing synthetic reeds for many years. The early versions that I tried just didn't deliver the sound and response that I was after with my set up (Tenor - Ref 54, Ottolink metal w/ Rovner ED II; Soprano - LA Sax, Selmer Super Sessions w/ Rovner ED II). The Legere Studio Cut has changed all that. They provide a warm consistent sound in all registers, excellent response, and so far have been able to handle everything that I have thrown at them. Add to that the fact that I no longer have to be concerned about moisture content and how humidity in different playing venues effect my Alexander DC's, I will be using the Legere studio cut as my primary set up for most gigs. I would encourage any old dogs (like me) to try this new trick. For my money, the Legere is a clear winner.
