Strength Comparison
The Clarinet Student Strength scale is slightly different than the strength scale we use for our premium clarinet reeds: Student Strength 2 = Premium 11/2. About the Cane.
Légère Reeds do not need to be moistened prior to playing, and are ready to go instantly. They are much tougher than cane, however the tip is fragile, and the reed can split or break if it is mishandled. Store the reed on a flat surface, or in a standard reed holder. Clean your reed periodically with water and mild detergent. See our website for more details. |
