As a novice player, I was looking for a bow that would enhance the tonal quality of my playing. I play a Ren Wei Shi Artist I violin and invested in a great instrument and chose to make a similar investment in a bow. It is extremely well balanced, enabling me to maintain proper positioning and to play for extended periods of time without fatigue. This bow is well worth the investment. As my playing improves I am sure that the bow will continue to meet my needs.
