I use this to do field recordings, interviews, plus meeting and conference documentation. The range of file types and inputs places this at the head of the class in solid state recorders and did I mention easy ! Goodbye cassettes, CD recorders, DAT and MD recorders. Light weight, big display, knobs and buttons large enough to fit human fingers. Downloads are a snap. Edit in SoundForge and hand your customer a digital file in what ever format you choose. Sound quality is determined by recording mode, 8 bit to 128 and file type, so it's good to excellent. I really like this recorder and I use it a lot, built like a brick.
