Product Overview and Specifications
MG15CD combo

Utilizing radical new technologies, the new MG Series raises the sonic and performance standards of value-for-money guitar amplifiers. The exclusive FDD (Frequency Dependant Damping) technology accurately mimics the way an all-valve amp interacts with a loudspeaker, giving the MGs a width of sound never before possible in affordable, non-valve amps. All models feature a CD input, emulated Headphone jack and Line Out jack.

I bought this so I could split my signal from a ZOOM G2.1u to this amp and a Randall RX50D that I purchased. I wanted the stereo effect! Any way this little Marshall alone is worth the price for home practice and it is the one I use exclusively when the hour is late. 15 watts are loud for any room in a residence. It is a great quality unit and there is enough to tweek with to get a wide range of tonal qualities. When you power down you'll hear a small pop. That is inherant in the design, so don't worry about it. It's a normal sound. Other owners have commented about that at other websites. If you want a Marshall and you're starting out then this would be a wise choice. An 8" speaker driven by 15 watts is enough for you to jam along to your CD's, and even get loud enough to be a problem to your neighbors. I've never had it above 4 on the clean channel and the overdrive is louder! Also it's nice to look down and see that you own a Marshall
