Marshall MGIII Series
Utilizing radical new technologies, the new MG Series raises the sonic and performance standards of value-for-money guitar amplifiers. The exclusive FDD (Frequency Dependant Damping) technology accurately mimics the way an all-valve amp interacts with a loudspeaker, giving the MGs a width of sound never before possible in affordable, non-valve amps. All models feature a CD input, emulated Headphone jack and Line Out jack.

This is my first decent sized amp; I enjoy the quality for the price. It has a smooth clean channel, but still gets nice and loud. The onboard effects are nice if you don't want to mess with a bunch of pedals, during practice or jamming at home. I wouldn't really use onboard effects to much for a gig. Mainly my practice amp now as it's easy to move, but gets loud when needed. Thanks.

I bought this amp a couple of weeks ago. And I’m sure glad that I did! It can deliver many sounds of different bands. It’s a great practice amp, and I’ve also used it in a small show. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I got this amp over a week ago after getting rid of a Fender Princeton65 that I've had for the last 6 years. I decided that I needed a change of pace, so I made the switch to Marshall, and boy, am I glad I did. This amp simply ROCKS! The clean has a nice shimmering tone to it, while the distortion is flat out balls to the wall tone. The effects are quite good also, but I use a DigitechRP50 when I'm gigging with my band, so that's not really a problem. I read a few complaints where some people say that the built in fan is too loud. Guess what? I don't really notice it at all, and if I did, the only solution would be to TURN IT UP!!! This is a Marshall that's supposed to be loud anyway. How do you think they got their well deserved rep? The closed back is nice also; it adds a warmth to the tone. I'm definitely sticking with this amp, and God help anybody who tries to take this away from me. MARSHALL RULES!!!
