The Meinl Bass Cajon features another unique innovation, which proves once again Meinl’s R/D status in the percussion scene. A pedal attached to the cajon adjusts the amount of pressure use to press the snare wires against the front plate, and can even be turned off completely. This system allows the player to change the setting on the snare wires while playing a rhythm with both hands without interruption. Due to its size being bigger that the standard Meinl Cajon, this instrument has more projection and bass frequencies. Comes with a matt finished ebony front plate and rubber wood resonating body. Other features include a padded seat and adjustable top corners. |
