"Great all around piece!"

I don't have the time or cash to have many different pieces for different types of music for all my horns, so I look for an all around piece that allows me to play everything from rock and jazz to classical music. Meyer mouthpieces do that for me. I can project with an edge when I need to or get a really round sound for classical ensemble work. When playing it sounds a bit darker to my ears than it really is. When doing recording sessions I realized I still had just enough edge to help define the sound. I love this piece. It hasn't failed me yet!

Before I had this mouthpiece, I had been going through many mouthpieces, because I was breaking them. Now I know that this one probably wont break and this is a great thing, because I have never played as well as I do now with this mouthpiece. Notes come out extremely easily, low notes sound really good, I can actually get a good vibrato now, and it really wasn't all that expensive. I also noticed that it's easier to move around dynamically loud-soft (sorry if I don't quite know what that is called exactly). As the first good mouthpiece I've gotten, I don't see me needing much of reason to get a new mouthpiece for a long time now.
