"Still Confused in hindsight, but it worked & is compact"

My main goal here was to vanish my need for bulbs and cords. I knew I wanted more light that the single so I went with this one. I was the cool kid at the show with the new gadget but, as we found out, the original batteries don't last long. But after changing them, they seemed to last longer(After effect: I made it through the rest of our 6x 3hr shows.) However, the piano player bought TWO that had a battery/DC plug adapter. I think I like that dual option. Light loses brightness near the bottom of the page after first show on the batteries. ALSO, the light color is different. It is more white/blue than yellow. One other unique thing to note, there is not as much Outward glare of light like you get from a manhasset bulb style so it makes your musician area darker. I guess I can always carry more batteries and don't break like bulbs do. Might be worth spending $50 just to have more LED lights & a cord option. a few people from this last Pit Orch. gig had two sets of these on there stand...left & right OR top & bottom was a great way to go too. but weigh that cost. I made it through 10 days of shows with just one dual LED light, AND one change of batteries.

"Lights flicker;won't stay on;dim quickly"

For the first few months I had this, the lights were fine (though dimmer than I thought they would be.) After that, the right light would not stay on but rather flicker on and off. I had to spend 3-4 minutes each session adjusting the bendable arm to just the right position so the light would stay on. After a few more months, the left light started doing the same. So I now spend the first 5-6 minutes of every practice session and rehearsal trying to adjust the lights so they'll stay on, only to have them flicker out half way through the rehearsal. This is a great idea but the quality of this product is very poor.
