What is a CD+G compact disc?
CD+G (CD+Graphics) is a special disc format in which simple graphics and text are stored in the sub channels of an audio compact disc. When played in CD+G compatible players (like a karaoke machine), lyrics and images appear on a monitor or TV screen in time to the music. The CD+G format is both fun is a useful learning tool for music and lyrics. CD+G's also work normally in regular CD players. |
