Pearl Flute 665 Quantz Coda

I always wanted to get a flute with both Split E mechanism and C# Trill key on one flute. The 10K gold lip plate was not the most important item on this flute because I would have settled for a sterling silver lip plate as well. I like the price of the flute because it was affordable and wasn’t going to break me financially. I can really say that I recommend this flute to anyone looking for a step up flute.

This flute is complete brilliance. The tonal color can vary greatly and can be used for all venues of flautistry. It is a beautiful instrument for the advanced high school or college musician. The solid silver head is also a big plus. This flute handles just like a flute that is all solid silver, if not better. Plus you get a Gold lip plate, C sharp trill key, and a D sharp roller with the CODA package. These are features that many professionals favor. Definitely a great buy. This flute has made me a life supporter of Pearl. The most boom for the buck!

I am a competitive high school musician who has just recently purchased this flute. I find finding a quality tone on this instrument is very easy without much adjusting. The keys move very quickly, thanks to the wonderful springs Pearl has installed in them. Unlike my previous Yamaha flute, it is more lightweight, and the gold lip plate actually makes a difference, whereas on my Yamaha, it sounded the same as a silver lip plate. The split E is a plus.

I just Recently purchased this Pearl Flute. Before I got this instrument I was using a no-name brand flute and it did me justice for 3 years straight. But when I purchased this Pearl flute I noticed a true change in my flute playing and I would recommend this flute to anyone who is looking for a professional model flute.
