I've been using Vandoren JAVA's for a while now and then I saw these and decided to give them a try. I use them (Strength 3) with my Bari WTII Mouthpiece and the tone is excellent! They are cheaper and in my opinion, better. I would recommend these reeds to everyone.
I really like these reeds. When i got them i was very suprised at how responsive they are. This is the first box of reeds i have ever had that not one didnt play amazingly. These reeds are definatly worth a try.
I love these reeds. I play big band and smooth jazz and these reeds are great. I have played these reeds on Links, Bergs, Dukoffs, Sugals, and Jody Jazz and these reeds can hang with all of them. I have played Ricos, V16s, Javas, ZZs, Superials and none of them worked with all my mouthpieces like the Ponzols. Ponzols are the best bang for the buck.
I used Rico Royal 2.5 Tenor reeds for years with my vintage Martin sax and Otto piece. I decided to try these reeds as an alternate. What a difference they made. Very nice response. I don't write reviews on products that often but would recommend these reeds. They play well both on the high end and low. Recommend them to others. Thanks.
