Primacoustic Freeport GT Stackable Mobile Panels form a 24" x 36" stackable acoustical gobo. The sound panels are made with 3" anechoic, high-density open cell acoustic foam, mounted on a rugged PVC stand with a lightweight backboard. Freeport panels provide effective absorption down to 500Hz making them ideal for controlling mid- and high-frequency splash during the recording process.
The Primacoustic audio panels' PVC tube frame is both sturdy and flexible, allowing the Freeport to employ a simple "T" leg system as its stand. It's pressure fit into place making set-up and storage fast and efficient. The clever design also permits 2 Freeport GTs to be stacked to create an acoustical wall. This allows the Freeports to be used to surround a guitar amplifier, or create an isolation area for vocal tracks, brass, or acoustic guitar.
The Freeport GT provides musicians and engineers with a portable acoustically optimized working space that can easily set up and torn down.
As with all Primacoustic foam products, the Freeport GT uses a flame-retardant (not a topical coat) during the fabrication process to meet the stringent California C117 specification. The dark charcoal color is achieved by impregnating the foam with carbon, a natural inhibitor of UV, which also serves to reduce oxidization. This process reduces the effect of discoloration over time.
Primacoustic Freeport GTs ship 2-to-a-box (paired) and come with complete stand, stacking nibs, and a set-up manual.
