Selecting a Stick

These sticks are incredible. I go to Franklin Central High School in Indiana, and we use promark sticks and mallets, so I decided to buy a couple of pairs. They are incredible, the nylon tips sound great on cymbals. Very light, very fast, a little top heavy but not hard to get use to. great sticks!

I was required to get a pair of 2B sticks for my methods course, so I decided to go with these. I had heard nothing but bad things about Pro-Mark, but I always like to try things for myself before I bash them. I wasn't disappointed either. These sticks were nicely paired - perfectly in-tune with each other. They also had a nice balance and response. I still have the pair and believe I will recommend this brand to my own students when I start teaching.

I have been playing drums since I was 7. Since i was 13 I have been using ProMark sticks. I used to use 5A but now I use the 2B. The 2B are better because the weight is perfect and the diameter is great.I have NEVER had a pair start to chip really badly or break. I recommend ProMark sticks all the way.

I got these sticks yesterday. I got them in 2S and they are massive sticks compared to what I'm used to. I'd say these sticks won't break for awhile due to their size. I'm hoping to try some other sizes of ProMark's Hickory line, and maybe some nylon tipped ones too.
