These guys give a unique "unplugged" sound to your kit! Perfect for using for quiet songs or just when you're jamming with someone in your basement and sticks are too loud! Keep in mind that Hot rods, Cool Rods, Lightning rods, and thunder rods are all made up of different sized dowels. Research which thickness is right for your style of playing or you may break them very quickly! Just head over to pro-mark's web page then come back and get these things!

I am a huge fan of these sticks. They are perfect for small venues. I also like them for larger venues that call for brushes. When you play with a 100 piece orchestra brushes don't quite cut it. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a new sound/flavor to add to their library.
