This is a license upgrade to a full version of Reason 7, bundled with an additional upgrade to Reason 8 when it ships on September 30th. This package updates any version of Reason, from 1 all the way through 6.5 to a full version of Reason 7. Again, Propellerhead is allowing anyone who registered any Reason 7 software on July 1, 2014 or later to qualify for a free upgrade to Reason 8 once released on September 30th, 2014. A customer only needs to register their Reason 7 software and Propellerhead will contact them when Reason 8 download is available. Select your preferred number of licenses from the dropdown menu.
Reason 7 Education is a software recording studio for musicians. In the classroom, Reason has many distinct advantages over other music software programs, allowing students to focus on music creation and production, not system maintenance and software incompatibilities. Students can freely experiment and find solutions to audio problems while maintaining creative flow during music production, invariably spending more time on their projects and assignments.
Reason's studio simulation metaphor allows students to configure (and reconfigure) a complete sound studio, selecting and wiring audio processors and generators while the large-format console model provides a rare chance for students to prep for work in large, professional studios. The flexible environment lets students experiment with signal path and internal routing, customize their sound experiences and "break the rules" - all connections allowed!
