"Great case, bad straps"

I love this case. It has space for everything and has a large amount of padding for the instruments. The straps are of extremely low quality and will deform to the point where it will unclip from the ring on the case. Protec really needs to address this situation. I was fortunate enough to catch the case both times before it hit the floor. I now use it without the straps which allows me to use the case but is also kind of inconvenient. Other people I have seen have two or three other straps attached to the case for extra safety.

"Great case - lots of flexibility"

This case has a lot of options. I have not had it long, but love using it from school to school for work and then attaching the mute bag for gigs. Much lighter than my last triple bag and the "briefcase" on the side is awesome!

I bought this case to use for my Taylor trumpet, Leblanc flugelhorn, a couple of mutes, and all my mouthpieces. It fits all of those, and still has room for more small things here and there. However, it is a close fit with the flugelhorn. The trumpet fits perfectly, but the flugel is taller and comes very close to the top of the bag. So all I did was put a soft, flannel-like material over the horns and shut the bag!... Good protection, lots of room for small stuff, nice padding for horns, good straps...Overall it is a very nice case!

I have this bag as it came with my Kanstul Chicago 1001 and it has been fantastic. I had already had the mute back and just hang it off the end. Plenty of space and have had three horns in it for a while but generally use it for just two and trumpet books. Have not used the straps yet that others have complained about.

"Durable and Versatile. Great Value."

I play the bagpipes and saw this bag recommended on a website by other pipers who were using it to carry their instruments. The bag is extremely well-constructed and user-friendly, with numerous pockets and sleeves to carry all your accessories. I was able to remove the padded insert for the three trumpets, leaving me with a large open area into which I could easily fit the bagpipes. The bag is comfortable to carry with the shoulder straps. Protec told me that they are aware of a small number of shoulder straps which had problems, but that batch has been eliminated and the straps which came with my bag are sturdy and durable. For the price, this bag is a great value and I would certainly recommend it to anybody - even trumpet players ;)
