After 20 years, still a great gig bag

Comments about Protec Deluxe Tenor Trombone Gig Bag:

I bought my first Protec gig bag 20 years ago for my Holton .547 bore open-wrap (which fits great in this case) & it has made it through college, grad school, & thousands of gigs. Now that my son is playing & the case for his King has broken down, I got him a Protec. Protec's high level of quality has remained- they even added a few improvements, such as reinforced zipper pulls & feet to keep it from tipping when standing on its end. I'm glad to see that we can count on Protec (& WWBW for keeping it affordable) for our family's next generation of trombonists.

Protec Deluxe Tenor Trombone Gig Bag slide compartment is to

Comments about Protec Deluxe Tenor Trombone Gig Bag:

The Protec Deluxe Tenor Trombone Gig Bag slide compartment is too short to fit my Edwards 0.547 bore (T-std) slide. The slide compartment doesn't seem all that protective either, exposed on the outside of the bag with relatively thin, compressible padding. I will return the bag.
