This super light case has been great! My son carries his to school every day. If you are looking for a light weight case this seems to have a bit more substance than those feather weight "arrow" or "dart" shaped cases. It has a slightly arched top too, which adds to its substance. We really like it. It holds the violin securely, the zippers work well, and the handles are comfortable even when wearing ski gloves. Although it doesn't have the protectiveness of a heavier case it is great as a lightweight.
