I've been playing for several years and I've always felt over-burdended carrying all of my accessories and such that didn't fit into my old case. So I decided to get this case and wow! When they say carry-all, it really DOES carry everything! Not only does my clarinet fit in it perfectly, but the internal accessory compartment is big enough for me to also carry my flute (C-foot). This was very handy when I was playing reed parts for a recent pit job I did. I was able to store all of my various mouthpieces and reeds as well as my clarinet and flute stands with room to spare. This was without a doubt one of the best investments I've made for a long time.

I purchased this case because my old case became too tedious to manage. While it is spacious and certainly protective, keep in mind that if you travel with your instrument it is quite heavy and bulky, and barely fits under an airline seat. You may need an additional, lighter weight case if you travel, particularly since some accessories (i.e. cork grease) may need to be checked anyway.

Amazing case but... wuhhhh?

Comments about Protec ProPac Carry-All Clarinet Case:

Okay so, first off I want to say that WWBW has messed up they need to update their photos because the case is a lot different than the case they put on the picture. when I see the case it looks very durable but am concerned that the screws holding the material to the wood/ whatever material they use for the core of the case, it should have more screws to keep it together, secondly this case is absolutely HUGE, my old case that came with my Yamaha 650 clarinet can fit INSIDE this case, yeah that's right. it has plenty of room to hold my music even my huge 'Rubanks Advanced Method' book and more, and the pouches on the bottom and right of the case have nice covers with elastic to ensure whatever you put in it won't bounce around. my final thoughts would have to be that it is a great case, but you won't be putting it in any backpack, it's about the size of a medium messenger bag, I'm sure I'm going to love it but I am concerned about the quality, not of the case, or the bag, but of what they use to connect the black material to the wood in the case, not enough screws, along with the stitching doesn't look too great, but what do I know?!

I just received this case. The case is great but the only downfall is the weight. Putting the strap around my shoulder really hurts me.

Comments about Protec ProPac Carry-All Clarinet Case:

I was given this as a gift by my last instructor all the way back in middle school when I got my second clarinet. I'm now in college and the only reason I stopped using it was because the zipper is coming loose in one spot on the side from lots of hard pulls. It lasted me a good five years though middle and high school. I was a pack rat and I loved this case! It has room for your sheet music in the top. It has an outside pouch where you can put your pencils and erasers. And there are two compartments on the inside to put a large tuner (like a silver Korg), a large reed case (see protecs multi case), and WHATEVER else I needed. The only thing that won't fit is a clarinet stand that doesn't fit in the bell. I still have it as a spare. I cleaned it this summer and it's almost as good as new!

GREAT!

Comments about Protec ProPac Carry-All Clarinet Case:

I Love my case. It has more than enough room for all of my stuff and I put my car keys and change purse in the outside pocket when I go to practice. The shoulder strap is great to have but since the box is made to be used as a back pack also it should have a back pack strap with it. I play in an orchestra and I can place my folding stand on top of the case and carry them both at the same time if I carry it by the handles which leaves one hand free to open heavy doors. The case is heavy so the back pack idea is great for college students who have to walk big campuses.

LOTS of storage space

Comments about Protec ProPac Carry-All Clarinet Case:

When I was entering high school, the original case for my clarinet was falling apart quite literally. I bought the ProTec Carry-All because in my old case, I never had any room for my extra barrels, music - even a pencil! Though it is a decent case, I feel that I overcompensated a bit. Yes, it has room, but as a student I really don't need all of that space. It doesn't fit well in my school locker, and it leaves no room in my band locker for anything else. However, when I work over the summer, it does fit all of the reed boxes, cork grease, mouthpieces, and lesson books that I need.

A great case for anybody!

Comments about Protec ProPac Carry-All Clarinet Case:

Well I got this case two days ago. When I first saw it I was thinking, maybe this is too big. No, it was perfect! The case has a pocket inside of it where your music goes and a pocket on the outside that is good for pencils and objects like that. It fits my Clarinet perfectly. It's going to be great when I go to my Honor Band Clinics, with my old case I had to hold my music but now I can put it in my case. I have had a lot of people so far tell me it was pretty cool, and they were thinking about purchasing one just like it. I would recommend this case to any HS Student who participates in honor bands and things like this.
