True Tube Tone with True Tube Power
As part of the MTS, the RT2/50 Channel Switching Stereo Tube Power Amplifier is the best way to power the tube modules to get that true tube tone. Any form of power can certainly be used to run the RM4 Chassis preamp and the MTS Modules, but the RT2/50 allows you to use either 6L6 or EL34 power tubes, master gains, density's & presence controls. Also comes with a front panel adjustable tube bias control. Partnered with the RM4 preamp, the RT2/50 can create any combination of your choice of classic & modern tube tones. Package these units together to create your own hybrid combination of power amp and preamp tubes.
Plug in and Play
Now you can change your amp tone as often as you like, simply by plugging in your choice of any of the 12 available tube preamp modules. The 4-channel preamp gives all the flexibility of any digital modeling amp, but does it with all-tube circuitry, based on the original circuit specifications. The RM4 also allows you to hot swap, and customize any combination of the 12 classic to modern real tube tones.
