This product is amazing and well worth the money. When I first saw the product I had my doubts; and when I actually received it I really thought it was a joke. I pulled out some reeds that I couldn't play, hadn't been able to play for a couple of years. I put the reed down on the Wizard did what the instructions said and the reed played like it was the once in a lifetime reed that sounds great and never goes bad. I used it on 15 reeds so far and they play wonderfully now! I perform a lot and was getting tired of buying a box of reeds and only finding 1 good reed out of 10. Now they are all good thanks to the Reed Wizard. This will save me a ton of money in the future!! If you are having reed trouble at all, give the Reed Wizard a try, it really works.

This tool is a must for all single reed players. It is relatively easy to learn how to fix your own reeds, and this tool is a great aid in doing just that. Too many times, the reeds we purchase (even the "top" brands) are not perfectly symmetrical, but this tool allows one to balance out one's reeds. WWBW's price is very competitive to other online companies.

I purchased this about a year ago just to try it and see if it made any difference with my reeds. I generally had been happy with using V-16 3's on my tenor and Java 2.5's on my alto, but often found it difficult to find good clarinet, bari, and soprano reeds. I first modified a clarinet reed and was blown away by how good it played; very free blowing, clear, great projection and actually enjoyable to play. I then tried it on bari and I noticed the same results and have since used it on all single reeds and absolutely love it. I feel this is one of the best things I've purchased for my career and I highly recommend it.
