I am an active performer and high school band director. I've had this case for a several years and use it for my Willson 2900s. This gig bag has excellent padding and is extremely well constructed. The zippers are strong and work easily. The back-pack straps are tough and stitched very firmly into place. For a gig-bag, it offers great protection for my Willson and the leather still looks great after several years of use. HOWEVER, about 1 month after using this bag, I noticed severe tarnishing of my instrument occurring. Dark blue and black tarnish began occurring at an alarming rate. At first I was not sure why this was occurring and could not figure out why my euph was doing this. After experimenting with several situations over 2 more months - found that it was ONLY after placing my horn in this case overnight did it tarnish. The tarnish became progressively worse for each night I left it in there. Conclusion: this Reunion Blues ($400+) case was causing tarnish to my instrument. When I contacted WWBW, I was told that they would not replace nor refund the case and said "..that is not our problem..." I then contacted Reunion Blues - they apologized but said they would not replace the case, and said I should buy or make a "tarnish bag." I made one and have used it with moderate success. However, my beautiful Willson 2900s is no longer a brilliant white silver, but has a blueish-nickle look to it. It may be a fluke that only THIS case caused tarnish and you may have better luck...but is it worth $400 to risk it?
