The Reaction Phaser is a classic phaser effect that's incredibly easy to use thanks to its one-knob control set. Click it on and adjust the speed to your liking. It's true bypass, so when it's off it has zero effect on your signal and tone.
Placing the Reaction Phaser in front of your distortion or directly into your amp will produce a grainy, gritty effect that adds excitement to your playing. Conversely, if placed after your distortion pedal, or within the effects loop of an amp, it will produce a smoother effect. Experiment and find what works best for you.
