I own a Yanagisawa B901, and it is very difficult to find a sturdy rolling case that fits it and yet doesn't break the bank. This case was a crap shoot for me. But it fits my bari just fine. The latches are great, the wheels are pretty nice, and it seems pretty solid. But when it was first sent to me, there was a crack in the shell right where the wheels are attached to the body. So I had another one sent to me. Same problem. But it wasn't quite as bad, so I'm just going to stick it out until I get back from a tour. Then I will be on the phone with SKB. But all in all, not a bad product.

"Nice Case but... "

Overall this is a great case, it is vary durable and holds my sax in place. The weels are really nice too. But... I found that the top handle is not placed well, so i couldn't easily carry it like a normal case if i needed too without the case dragging on the ground. It also had to be modified to fit a low Bb bari because the bell space was not wide enough, it did not fit my martin or my mark VI bari until we cut a deeper slot. There isent a single storage compartment, and taht is also a problem. But all in all a good sturdy case, just really with these things where added.

"Definitely does the job..."

I bought this case because of SKB's reputation, and that most people can't afford $800 for a BAM case. The Walt Johnson bari cases have had problems in the past, so I avoid them. I play a Low A Mark VI and if you need a safe way to transport your horn, this case definitely does the job well. While I wouldn't recommend dropping your instrument off a building, I've bumped into plenty of things without any damage to my horn (or the case). Pros: -Wheels make it easier to move -Case can take some hits and still protect your horn -clasps never open by accident, TSA lock is a plus Cons: -It's pretty big...however, bigger in this case means more protection. -Handle placement...top handle is clearly meant as a grip to roll it... the middle handle is slightly off balance. Overall, I'm very happy with this case and would reommend it to anyone looking to better protect their instrument for regular transport. If you're looking to check it on an airplane, I would go for the BAM.

"Good Case Does not fit Conn"

This case does not fit any Conn Bari saxes. I tried a 12M Bb, a 11M A, and a New Wonder II Chu, and none of them fit. Other than that it looks like a good case.
