Comments about SR Technologies Fusion Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece:

As a tenor player that seeks an more of an edgy jazz tone, this mouthpiece beyond fulfilled my expectations. I can do everything with the Fusion .108. The altissimo is effortless up to the highest reaches. Compared to Otto Link, Berg Larsen, and others it so easily demonstrates superiority. I love this mouthpiece and will never buy anything else for my tenor. It sounds amazing with Fibracell reeds as well. I experience consistency in tone and zero squeaks or anything of the like with this wonderful piece for my Yamaha 62-III Pro Tenor. Do yourself a favor and buy!

Comments about SR Technologies Fusion Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece:

This piece surprised me, it's bright and powerful as you'd expect from a baffled piece but also surprisingly flexible, it leaves you a lot of room to shape your sound and does many things well. The sound isn't as overly focused as I expected, it's got some body and richness to it - a more complex sound than, say, a Dukoff. Picks up a little buzziness when pushed. Very consistent in timbre and response throughout the range (unlike an also nice Morgan I compared it with, which fattened up down low and got more focused up high; just a matter of preference). Also strikes a nice balance regarding resistance - definitely free blowing, but not as much as more extreme baffled pieces. Great for funk, blues, rock, and reggae. Probably wasn't designed with jazz specifically in mind but it could absolutely be used for that too. Works well with Rovner lig and Fibracells, ZZ's, V16's. Didn't like Superials, Baris, or Legere synthetics on it but YMMV. TL;DR - powerful, bright, but flexible piece for players who want to be able to do a variety of things well on a single mouthpiece.

    Plain and simple- It works!

Comments about SR Technologies Fusion Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece:

I play in a very busy function band and teach music in a public school. Like other pro's I work with, we use different mouthpieces for different purposes. The SR Fusion TF3100 works for me when playing pop, r&b and traditional jazz. Pitch center is great and the tone has a full body. Playing altissimo has never been easier. I went with a stiffer Rico Jazz reed that broke in nicely. I would recommend this for someone who wants to break into similar style of playing that has been used to playing on hard rubber all their lives. I'm playing this on a Cannonball Hot Spur and getting a huge sound.

    Great mouthpiece

Comments about SR Technologies Fusion Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece:

This is a great mouthpiece. I play in a rock/funk band, and needed something that would let me compete with loud electric guitars and bass, more so than my Otto Link. I demoed at least 5 other brands, and this one just stood out above the rest. It has great projection, clean and well-rounded sound, and is really comfortable to play. I should knock off a star for being so expensive... but I actually think it was worth the extra bucks. The company appears to have good quality control, and uses high quality materials.

SR Tech FUSION is Outstanding MPC for Rock-n-Rock, Blues, Fu

Comments about SR Technologies Fusion Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece:

I really like my SR Tech Fusion. Mine is the size .108 and I play it with a Fibracell 2.5. on my Yanagasawa T-990 Gold Lacquer Tenor. This setup has won me many fine compliments on R&B, Blues, Rock, Fusion scenes as fellow tenormen always ask me how I get my sound. The high baffle adds the cutting crispness I need to get through that friggin' guitar on volume 10, yet the big chamber keeps the sound big and fat. Back to the Fusion...One thing I like is that this MPC stays in tune very well with little effort all the way up and down the horn and all notes speak easily. The fusion is also easy on the embouchure as it is comfortable and not too steeply sloped nor too thinly sloped. Every item in my setup that I discussed in this review I purchased from WWBW, sax, reeds, MPCs everything. THANK YOU WWBW!!!!!!

    Excellent mouthpiece

Comments about SR Technologies Fusion Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece:

This is an excellent mouthpiece if you need power, projection, and ease of altissimo. It is very comfortable to play as well as easy blowing. I have tried many mouthpieces, and this is probably one of the best "mass produced" mouthpieces that you will buy. I believe that every one has its own serial number on it, which means the quality control is probably very good. It plays very well with a Rico Jazz select 2 hard, at least for me; no need to use a super hard reed with this baby. I purchased the .115 opening. Check it out, I think you will like it allot!!
