good cymbal for the price but comes with a warning

Musical Experience: church involvment, teaching and multiple working groups.
Style of music: r&b,gospel,rock,,jazz,blues
Hometown michigan

18 inch model. definitely a brash, bright china cymbal, but it has great Chinese tones. I do enjoy this cymbal played lightly and love the swell and wash created using mallets. sounds great played in a percussion setup using hands. some may consider it harsh when bashed with a stick. Metal players would love the way it cuts . For my playing situations it works as long as I use a "gentle" or "soft" attack. warning: striking at the wrong time with a heavy hand can disrupt and be unmusical
